Califorina Leads the Nation in Underemployment

The job outlook in California remains bleak as California is tied with 4 other states for the highest rate of underemployment, which was 21%-24%. Underemployment rates calculate people who are unemployed and those working part-time less than 30 hours a week who want full-time jobs.

The California unemployment rate was around 11.1% for December, higher than the 8.5% national average.
